MEETING LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATIONS

The meeting will be held at The Tremont House at 2300 Ship's Mechanic Row, Galveston, Texas  77550.  The conference room rate for both single and double rooms is $229.00/night.  In order to receive the conference room rate, please use the following reservation link:  The Tremont House Online Reservation.  Reservations using the conference room rate must be completed no later than Friday, May 12, 2017.

The closing banquet will be held at the Garten Verein at  2704 Avenue O, Galveston, Texas  77550.

For those desiring transportation other than rental car or car service options, Galveston Limousine Service can be used for shuttle service from and to both George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. From George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Galveston:  Earliest Departure:  8:30 am   Latest Departure:  6:00 pm

From William P. Hobby Airport to Galveston:  Earliest Departure:  9:30 am  Latest Departure:  7:00 pm

From Galveston to George Bush Intercontinental Aiport:  Earliest Departure:  6:00 am  Latest Departure:  3:30 pm

For reference, the estimated Uber cost between George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Galveston is $75/one-way.

ABSTRACTS

Abstracts should contain plain text with no special formatting.  Special characters (specifically Greek letters, greater than or equal to, and less than or equal to) must be spelled out.  Any special characters included in the submitted abstract will be shown as a question mark (?).  Please use lower-case 'p' for probabilities, e.g., p < .05.  The body of the abstract is limited to 225 words.  Please write the abstract as one block paragraph.  All tabs, line breaks, and extra spaces will be ignored when the text is displayed on a web page.

When submitting the abstract there will be an option to indicate what words or phrases you would like converted to special or Greek characters for publication in the abstract book and in the special publiction of BBI (to be published after the conference).   

POSTERS

Posters will be displayed in landscape form and can be a maximum of 96 inches wide (243.8 cm) and 48 inches tall (121.9 cm).  For clarification, the size listed is the size of the display board.  Posters do not need to be 96 inchs wide or 48 inches tall.  If you have questions about the size of your poster, please contact PNIRS via email at pnirs@pnirs.org.  

CANCELLATION POLICY

PNIRS must receive written notice of cancellations by May 15, 2017, 11:59 CDT in order to receive a refund less $50 processing fee.  Cancellation requests received after May 15, 2017, 11:59 CDT will not be refunded.
