26th Annual PNIRS and GEBIN Scientific Meeting: Berlin, Germany June 4-8, 2019

The 26th Annual Scientific Meeting (PNIRS 2019) of the PsychoNeuroImmunolgy Research Society has been organized together with the German Endocrine Brain Immune Network (GEBIN).



Registration for PNIRS and GEBIN 2019 will open on Monday, January 7, 2019. 

To register for the meeting, use the "Register for the meeting and submit abstracts" link on the right. PNIRS members please use your existing username and password to login to register. Non-PNIRS members will need to create a username and password at the login link to register. Abstract Submission is now closed.



The meeting will be held at Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus, Universite Medicine Charité, Luisenstrasse 58/59, 10117 Berlin. 

The closing banquet will be held at Clärchens Ballhaus, Auguststrasse 24, 10117 Berlin.

 Monday, January 7, 2019  Online abstract submission and meeting registration opens.                                        You must register for the conference in order to submit an abstract.
 Friday, March 22, 2019  Closing date for submitting abstracts for oral or poster presentations.                        Trainees must submit an abstract to be eligible for a scholar award.
 Monday, April 29, 2019  Late breaking abstract window opens.                                                                              For poster presentations only.
 Monday, May 6, 2019  Last day for early bird registration.                                                                                      Last day to submit late breaking abstracts for poster presentations.
 Friday, May 31, 2019  Online registration closes.                                                                                                    After this date, all registrations must be processed on-site.


PNIRS 2019 Schedule 




The PNIRS member-sponsored symposia submission process is now closed for PNIRS and GEBIN 2019 to be held in Berlin, Germany (June 4-8, 2019).   Selected proposals will be notified when the review process is complete.

****PNIRS is committed to encouraging equity, diversity and promoting inclusive excellence. In addition to the standard criteria of the review process, submissions will also be assessed according to how the proposal promotes diversity. 




Abstracts should contain plain text with no special formatting.  Special characters (specifically Greek letters, greater than or equal to, and less than or equal to) must be spelled out.  Any special characters included in the submitted abstract will be shown as a question mark (?).  Please use lower-case 'p' for probabilities, e.g., p < .05.  The body of the abstract is limited to 225 words.  Please write the abstract as one block paragraph.  All tabs, line breaks, and extra spaces will be ignored when the text is displayed on a web page.

When submitting the abstract there will be an option to indicate what words or phrases you would like converted to special or Greek characters for publication in the abstract book and in the special publiction of BBI (to be published after the conference).   


Posters will be displayed in portrait form and can be a maximum of 92 cm wide and 121 cm tall.  


PNIRS must receive written notice of cancellations by May 15, 2019, 11:59 CDT in order to receive a refund less $50 processing fee.  Cancellation requests received after May 15, 2019, 11:59 CDT will not be refunded.
